We help communities meet their environmental and financial goals

Glenvale’s projects play a critical role in the fight against climate change, and also make substantial property tax payments. Projects typically contribute to environmental stewardship both on and off site, and financially support local causes. Check out the Community Benefits program for each project for more information.

Solar projects are major taxpayers

Glenvale projects will typically be among the largest taxpayers in their community. For eligible projects Glenvale will promote a Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District. A TIF District will allow your community to retain more tax revenue, while supporting the project with a partial rebate of taxes.

And Protecting Natural Resources

Projects are designed to avoid impacts to local natural resources and attractions. Our projects usually include newly constructed pollinator habitat, located to maximize benefits off-site. Pollinator habitat provides critical habitat support for some of New England's most vulnerable species, while supporting cropland and gardens.
